Movepro Docs

Movepro is a CRM and operations platform for removals companies: it takes a job from the first customer enquiry, through quoting and booking, to scheduling trucks and crews, running the job in the field, and collecting payment. This guide covers the day-to-day basics, illustrated with screenshots from the official Movepro training videos.

How a job flows through Movepro

Almost everything in Movepro hangs off an order: one customer, one move. An order starts life as a lead on the sales board and becomes a job the moment a service is booked. Each stage change can trigger customer emails or SMS, payments, and scheduling steps.

While it's a lead: the sales pipeline

New lead→ Initial contact→ In progress→ Quoted Quoted→ Follow up→ Booked Booked

These are the columns of the Leads board. Leads that don't convert are archived with a reason (customer declined, changed plans); they leave the board but stay searchable forever, and can be restored from the bin.

Once it's booked: the job pipeline

Booked Booked→ Scheduled→ In progress→ Completed Completed→ Settled

Booked jobs appear in the Jobs list and the diary, where tasks get dates, staff and trucks. On the day, the crew works the tasks in the app; completing services records the actuals, and the order is settled once every payment, including cash handed to the crew, is accounted for.

Orders, services and tasks

Inside an order, the structure is always the same three layers: the order holds the customer and everything about them; services are the things the customer is buying; and each service generates the tasks that actually get scheduled and worked. Quotes price services; the diary schedules tasks.

A local move is usually one Whole move task; an interstate move splits into Pickup and Delivery plus the legs in between (yard work, rail in/out). Every task gets its own date, time window, staff and transport in the diary; tasks are what the crew accepts, starts and completes in the app.

Reading the screenshots

Every screenshot in this guide comes from the official Movepro training videos and short feature walkthroughs, recorded on demo accounts (Simply Done Transport and Hello World Movers). All names, prices and contact details are demo data (the payout screenshots come from a live account, with its bank details masked). Your own account may show slightly different menu items depending on the features enabled and your role's permissions; the workflows are the same.
